How many days should I plan to be at Universal Studios? Disney World?
I am planning a vacation to Florida in November and December. I was wondering how many days I should plan for to be able to get everything done in both parks. It's obviously going to be too cold for any water parks so we can count that out. Thanks for your help!
Actually, Disney will historically close one water park for general refurbishment but have the other one open that time of year, and everything including the hotel pools are heated. So if you really wanted to, you could. It would only take about a half-day.
But anyway. Thanksgiving week is generally busy, but after that, the first two weeks of December are a extremely low crowd time. So it's a great time to go see all the decorations without having to deal with crowds!
At Universal, it should take 2-3 days. One day at Islands of Adventure should be sufficient - it is a small park. At Universal Studios, it will depend mostly on the show schedules. There are some very good shows worth your time there, and if you try to see the majority of the shows and the rides, then you will likely need 2 days there. If you skip most of the shows, you can finish the rides in 1 day.
For Disney, you will likely need 1-2 days for Magic Kingdom, 1-2 days for Epcot, and 1 day each for Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. It just depends on what you like and how fast you move, of course. I would plan for 5 days at Disney - that will give you a chance to go to each park and go back to whichever one you want on the 5th day. If you could go for 6 days, that would be even better, giving you a second day to finish whatever you liked best.

The Waterboy [Blu-ray] $6.36 Adam Sandler vaulted into the $20-million-salary stratosphere with this, his second $100-million hit in 1998--a movie that further shows just how deeply embedded he is in the Jerry Lewis tradition of idiot comedy. He plays Bobby Boucher, a backwoods Cajun and a mentally challenged individual with a fixation on water: specifically, on serving the coolest, most refreshing H2O available to the colleg... |
