Why is Eeyore in Winnie the Pooh depressing?

I think I may have had ADHD Tigger, but it was manic / bipolar because he was not depressed. I also believe that Piglet was gay, but not a mental disorder to a lifestyle. As Winnie the Pooh, I think it symbolizes a unit, always seeking "the Honey, "which is the drug. RIGHT? Anyway I think that the characters represent the character of Christopher Robin. What do you think?
