Winnie the Pooh and You ™ ... the show?
At first glance, there is no connection between Disney's Winnie the Pooh and trade fairs. The same is true of Piglet, Tigger and the rest of the band. What could this group of children's favorite toy can teach us about exhibiting?
Surprisingly, a little. There are some strong similarities between Winnie the Pooh and the other inhabitants of the Hundred Acre Woods and many exhibitors hall. Do not believe me right? Take a look and see how many recognize your Staffers:
Winnie the Pooh
Pooh bears may be cute, cuddly and affordable - but he also have something on your mind. What makes this roly poly bear happy? Honey, of course! He is haunted by the soft gold - when he's not enjoying a meal, you are looking for the next smackerel fill your stomach noises.
A member of cabin crew hungry Pooh style. He can talk participants, but he's thinking about lunch. If someone walks into a sandwich, his eyes are instantly seduced. Fragrances food court to get his nose quivering. When you have the chance to eat, take it: even if that means eating in the
standing!
Piggy
Piglet is a very small animal, even more timid when confronted with unfamiliar surroundings, loud noises, bright colors, and crowds. His reaction? Why Why, to run and hide under the bed, of course, or behind his good friend Pooh.
A staff member may be timid Piglet style by nature or someone who is easily overwhelmed. Their reaction, inspired by fear, is to mix in the back of the cab and notices hope that no one of them. More often than not, get their wish - which is good for them, but bad for the bottom line.
Owl
Owl is a good highly trained birds. He just has a brain full of facts and figures to stick with - and wants you to know. No tidbit of information is too small to escape attention or to avoid telling you that anyone who will listen.
If you have a staff member Owl-style you may luck. After all, she knows everything! However, watch your Owl in action. Their overwhelming compulsion to 'show' their knowledge can alienate participants and send them to find a real estate agent who listens.
Rabbit
Rabbit is the busiest creature in the Bosque de los Cien Acres. He is always rushing around: planting seeds here, pulling weeds from there, chasing crows and watering daffodils. There are a million and one of the tasks necessary to keep his beloved garden flowers, and they are all very important.
You can always tell a staff member of the Rabbit style. They are the ones with a cell phone constantly in their ears, fingers flying over the keyboard, and to check email or SMS from the Ministry of Interior. They are so busy, obviously, taking care of business that can not be bothered with trivial distractions - like talking to show participants!
Tigger
Tigger is full of energy. He rebounded, jumping from one thing that draws attention to another. Full of laughter, good humor and contagious energy, tiggers are great fun to have around.
Put Tigger at a fair, though, and you may have a problem. The enthusiasm and high energy can attract traffic to your exhibit, but without a focus and control (concepts foreign to most of Tigger-types) there is no way capitalize on your crowd.
At this point, you may feel a little like Eeyore - in landfills. After all, with a stand pooh, piglet, owls, rabbits and tiggers, your chances of success are pretty slim. Do not despair! The heroes of the Bois des Rêves Blue is coming!
Christopher Robin
The man's companion to Winnie the Pooh and all his furry friends, Christopher Robin encompasses the best features of five and adds a crucial element: perspective and understanding how things actually work.
The agent combines style Christopher Robin Owl's knowledge, the enthusiasm of Tigger Pooh and the approach to the understanding and appreciation for the customer lounge. They realize the importance of paying attention to their visitors, apart from the mobile phone, laptop - even the sandwich! - Focus on what is really important.
Each exhibitor Christopher Robin must have one on your computer, preferably more than one. It's time to take a look at your computer.
How many is Christopher Robin?
Pooh How many? Piglets? TIGGERS?
What can be done to change the composition of their dreams Woods blue?
(Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Owl, Eeyore, Rabbit, Christopher Robin Woods and is Hundred Acre Disney ™)
