The best movies for Halloween

Snuggle on the couch and watching a good movie is part of the modern experience of Halloween, so Here a summary of some of the best movies out there for the big event.

Movies for the whole family

It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown (1966): An oldie but goodie that continues to improve with age. It adapts to all ages and all family members gives heat.

Pooh's Heffalump Halloween Movie (2005): An excellent option for young and old, who can resist a little Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and little Roo Halloween!

Casper (1995): A new classic for Halloween with sufficient enthusiasm for the whole family to enjoy. Qualifying PG means that some scenes may be unsuitable very young children, but this makes movies for viewing large family.

The Little Vampire (2000): Delightful for the whole family to a child who becomes best friends with a vampire. PG rated, so maybe not best option for small children, although the authorities described as "a film the whole family can sink their teeth into.

Film Older children

Hocus Pocus (1993): Bette Midler shines in this tale of three witches of Salem sinister than just to become sisters. They are unwittingly in the current evoked by pranksters and continues Salem Local heavenly joy, Spooky. Rated PG.

Halloweentown (1998): A classic Disney Channel about a teenager who discovers she is a witch and is swept into another world known as Halloweentown, where it is stranger at home with other witches and ghosts who live there.

Something Wicked This Way Comes (1983): Two brave young boys try save his people and families from evil and disaster carnival dark lord who has dreams - but at a price. An unforgettable film Halloween party for teenagers.

Adults Only

Halloween (1993): This classic John Carpenter is now synonymous Halloween chills on the sofa, still unsurpassed in its simplistic image of the original Boogeyman - Michael Myers.

Halloween (2007): Rob Zombie remake of John Carpenter shows another facet of the character of Michael Myers and tries to explain how he became the incarnation of all the bad things.

Scream (1996): Wes Craven mixture of horror and comedy has become a favorite of all time dichotic horror film - and not just on Halloween.

Interview with a Vampire (1994): This wonderfully made; adaptation of Anne Rice's novel make you laugh, mourn and ultimately mourn the fate of vampires so ably played by Cruise and Pitt. Essential Halloween shows.
