Both Tigger and Fleegle (Banana Splits) were expressed by Paul Winchell, at least until 1999, when he was replaced by Jim Cummings. Winchell Dick also expressed Dasterdly and a host of characters from the Hanna-Barbara 1960, 70 and 80. Like a ventriloquist, said Jerry Mahoney and Knucklehead Smith as host of a weekday afternoon kids show in the middle of 1960. A little known fact is Winchell is one of the inventors of an artificial heart - years before the first successful transplant with a device, a battery powered car, a method of tilapia, and many other inventions that are still there today. He died on 24 May June 2005, in Los Angeles of natural causes. Part of my first died instantly.
