It's really hard to understand how the public is becoming less afraid the same time, scientists are increasingly alarmed. For some reason, Americans in particular have lost faith climate scientists. Just goes to show that when science comes to conclusions uncomfortable, people will find ways to ignore. In most cases, come with conspiracy theories that scientists are trying to win grant money or are part of a vast socialist conspiracy, or simply refuse the state of scientific opinion. I think they should go down to fear. We all know that the potential consequences of global warming are disastrous. This is a climate change potentially catastrophic, and avoid, we will need Weening fossil fuel energy source that has been enriched to exploit. I think it's too much for many to accept. They are afraid their brains shut down, and are in denial mode. Once a person is in denial, it can happen to all kinds of bizarre justification to continue denied. Suddenly, not from what scientists think, find a way to ignore their views, findings and data. In science, foreign to me because it is a very self-destructive reaction. Denying a problem does not disappear, in fact, as it ignores the problem, usually going to get worse. But we have somehow mechanism evolved counter-productive defense, and now we see how self-destructive as possible.
